Overview

I am an experienced litigator in a wide range of matters in civil litigation, including shareholder disputes, class proceedings, construction disputes, insurance claims, defamation proceedings and injunctions. I have also occasionally represented clients in criminal matters. I have also worked on some major constitutional cases, including the constitutional challenges to Quebec's Bill 21 and Bill 40. I was among the lawyers that successfully argued a language rights case in which the Federal Court of Appeal ordered the federal government to terminate a major agreement with British Columbia because it violated the former's Official Languages Act obligations. I was also among the team of lawyers that represented the French-language school board of British Columbia in the CSFCB v British Columbia trial (in 2024-2025), which lasted more than 100 days. I practiced law in Quebec and British Columbia before relocating to Toronto. I am also a member of the Law Society of the Northwest Territories. I represent clients in English and in French. I am also fluent in Italian, and I have a basic understanding of Spanish.
