Overview

I’m a co-founder of Agora International LLP, an international disputes boutique law firm. We represent companies with cross-border investments and international organizations. The pillars of my practice are: 🔹Proactively helping SMEs who operate in complex jurisdictions navigate and mitigate geopolitical risks 🔹Acting in international arbitrations, with a particular focus on representing SMEs 🔹Acting in proceedings before Canadian courts involving enforcement or set-aside of international arbitral awards, or enforcement of foreign judgments 🔹Acting in commercial litigation matters before Canadian courts, especially those with a cross-border component 🔹 Sitting as arbitrator in a wide range of disputes, both international and domestic (Canadian), either as sole arbitrator or as chair or co-arbitrator of a tribunal. I am primarily based in Toronto and occasionally Vancouver. I am admitted to practise law in Ontario and British Columbia. I work in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian and am fascinated by their linguistic precedecessor, Latin, which are happily all languages in which one can attend Catholic Mass in Toronto (and I have).
